Nolvadex is an oral medication to combat the side effects of taking anabolic steroids. It is composed of Tamoxifen, a substance that reduces estrogen levels. Used in bodybuilders when taking steroids in order to reduce estrogen levels, because a high rate gives undesirable side effects such as gynecomastia. Nolvadex is also manufactured by other brands.

Nolvadex can be taken during and after a steroid cycle to prevent gynecomastia and at the end of the cycle to boost testosterone production in the body: tamoxifen citrate helping to increase andogenic testosterone.

To fight more effectively against gynecomastia and the feminizing effects of steroids, it is recommended to use Proviron, another anti-estrogen product with a different action from that of Nolvadex. These 2 combined protection products offer better efficiency together than separately.

Bodybuilders usually use Nolvadex at dosages of 20mg/day.
